Today, as we spring forward into March and Daylight Saving Time in the United States, many of us will feel the impact of losing an hour of sleep.

It’s a small shift on the clock, but for our bodies it can be surprisingly disruptive — a reminder of just how important sleep really is.

When we sleep well, everything else becomes easier: our thinking is clearer, our emotions steadier, and our energy more consistent. When we don’t, even simple things can feel harder than they should.

At This Life is Good, the month of March marks the final chapter of our Winter theme of Realignment, with a focus on Rejuvenation — the fifth path of the Thrivers’ Way and its themes of rest, sleep, relaxation, and restoration.

This week, we’re starting with sleep.
