This week at This Life is Good, we're continuing with our seasonal theme of Goodness & Gratitude by exploring how to cope in stressful times.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of life’s demands lately and struggling to find the light at the end of the tunnel, you’re not alone. Between the pace of modern life, shifting responsibilities, and a world that feels increasingly unpredictable, many of us are running on empty.

We're exploring how to reset when the pressure builds because thriving doesn’t mean you’re calm all the time. And living a good life doesn’t mean life is going to be stress-free; it’s about knowing how to return to some sort of equilibrium in the midst of a full, demanding life.

“At the center of your being you have the answer. You know who you are and you know what you want.” — Lao Tzu

To help you re-discover this equilibrium, I share three simple, science-backed strategies for resetting your nervous system and helping your body find calm again.

In the first installment of the series Notes on a Good Life, I invite you to find the light inside and hold on to the good that exists even in the midst of challenging circumstances.

I also share a beautiful book recommendation, full of practical tips and wisdom from a person many of us admire.

There’s also an update to the Autumn Recipe Collection (browse Volume 2) — and a bonus: two new movement classes — a gentle Unwind & Reset Yoga Flow and an energizing Happy Body, Happy Mind workout from our very own personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and yoga practitioner, Peter — to help you release some of that stored stress and reset the body’s rhythm.

As you go through the week, I hope you make time to unwind and reset — to release what’s built up, reconnect with your body, and find small moments of calm that bring you back to center.

Till next time,
Be well ❤️
