December marks a shift — in the weather, in the light, in our routines, and often in our energy. As we enter the last month of the year and the holidays approach, many of us find ourselves moving between moments of celebration and moments of fatigue, between gathering with others and craving quiet. It’s a season that invites both fullness and reflection.

This month at This Life is Good, we're leaning fully into the theme of Goodness & Gratitude with a focus on something more embodied: nourishment.

During the holiday season, when life becomes richer, busier, and sometimes more emotionally layered, it's natural to feel pulled in different directions and experience a mix of joy, overwhelm, celebration, and fatigue. As we rush through meals and run through our days, it's easy to forget that food isn't just what we eat, and movement isn't just something we do.

The truth is that what we eat, the way we eat, and how we move are powerful ways we can tend to ourselves. When we tend to ourselves with care, we nourish ourselves. Nourishment offers us a way back to center because nourishing ourselves is an expression of goodness and a practice of gratitude — gratitude for having a body, for being alive, and for the ability to care for ourselves through food and movement.

This week, we’re sharing a Leftover Turkey recipe collection and a Winter Salad recipe collection to help you nourish your body with ease and intention as you enter the holiday season.

And because food isn’t the only way we nourish ourselves, you'll find this week’s Nourish & Nurture Flow gentle yoga practice— filmed against the backdrop of a still, shimmering lake — wonderfully calming and deeply nourishing.

As you cook, eat, stretch, or move through your days this week, take a moment to pause and ask yourself:
“What is nourishing me right now?”
“What can I be grateful for in this meal, this moment, this body?”

You don’t need to get it perfect.
You only need to begin — gently, consciously, gratefully.

Here’s to a week filled with nurturing and nourishment!

Till next time,
Be well ❤️
