By the time January arrives, many of us feel a subtle pressure to move on, to decide, to commit, or to make something happen.

And yet, some of the most meaningful beginnings don’t come from action at all — they come from pausing and taking stock.

Not the kind of pause that avoids life, but the kind that allows us to look back with a little more honesty and a little less judgment.

Reflection is often misunderstood as dwelling in the past. But at its best, reflection isn’t about replaying what went wrong or wishing things had been different. It’s about making meaning — noticing what the last season of life quietly taught us, even if it didn’t unfold the way we expected.

When we rush past this noticing, we risk carrying unfinished threads into whatever comes next.

New for 2026 at This Life is Good, we’re organizing much of our work around Quests.

A This Life is Good Quest is a carefully curated series of habits, strategies, mindsets, and practices you can experiment with for 1–30 days to help you build sustainable habits and feel happy, healthy, and energized.

If you want to eat well, move more, sleep better, and generally live a good life and thrive from the inside out — without judgment, overwhelm, or quick fixes — we’re here to help.

January marks the beginning of our Winter season at This Life is Good — a season devoted to Intention and reflection. That’s why we’re kicking things off with our first Quest — New Year, New Start 2026 — a three-week intention and reflection journey designed to help you start the year as you mean to live it.

For this first week of the Quest, you’re invited to reflect on the challenges of the past year — and how they shaped you and made you stronger.

Next week, we’ll turn our attention to how food and eating showed up for us in 2025, where it supported us and where it didn't.

The following week, we’ll explore embodied intention and reflection through movement before coming together for IntentionHaus™ 2026: A Virtual New Year Reset on Saturday, January 31. If you haven’t registered yet, make sure to secure your place before registration closes.

As you make your way through the week, may you find the space and time to begin to reflect on the many beautiful and magical ways you grew this past year despite its challenges.

Till next time,
Be well ❤️
