As the year draws to a close, many of us find ourselves taking stock — sometimes without even realizing it. We notice what brought us joy, what drained us, what mattered more than we expected, and the ways in which our lives beckoned us to change.

Last week, we explored nourishment — tending to the body through food and gentle movement as an expression of goodness and gratitude. And while nourishment often begins with what we eat and how we move, it doesn’t stop there.

Nourishment can also be found in what brings us joy.
In what feels meaningful.
In what helps us feel connected, aligned, and at ease in our lives.

At this time of year — as the sun begins to set on one year and another year begins to dawn — many of us begin to reflect — sometimes quietly, sometimes intentionally — on all that has been over the past year.

What nourished us.
What depleted us.
What mattered more than we expected.
What no longer fits.

This week at This Life is Good, as we continue our seasonal theme of Goodness & Gratitude, the invitation is simple. Ask yourself:

  • What has truly nourished me this year — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually?
  • Where have I felt joy, meaning, or a quiet sense that something matters?
  • Where do I want to focus more of my attention as I move into the next year?

These questions aren’t about setting resolutions.
They’re about awareness and reflection.
About listening.
About creating space for what wants to emerge next.

That’s exactly the work we’ll be doing together at IntentionHaus™ 2026 — our New Year retreat designed to help you reflect, clarify what matters most, and set intentions and goals that feel aligned, grounded, and genuinely nourishing for the year ahead.

As you move through the week, I hope you take time to slow down and pay attention to what feels joyful, what feels nourishing, and what’s quietly asking to be acknowledged.

You don’t need to be perfect.
You only need to begin;
Gently, consciously, gratefully, intentionally;
With awareness and reflection.

Till next time,
Be well ❤️
